Do you charge extra for stain removal?
General spotting and light marks are included in our standard hot-water extraction price. However, specialized, severe stains (like large wine spills, ink, or extensive pet urine contamination requiring enzymatic treatments) will incur an additional charge. What is the difference between steam cleaning and shampoo cleaning?
Steam cleaning (hot-water extraction) flushes dirt and bacteria out of the fibres using hot water and powerful suction, removing 99.8% of contaminants without leaving residue. Shampoo cleaning utilizes rotary brushes and soap, which often leaves a sticky, soapy residue that actually attracts dirt faster once dry.
How long will it take for my carpets to dry?
Using our high-powered industrial extractors, we remove the vast majority of the moisture. Most residential carpets are fully dry within 2 to 3 hours depending on the room's ventilation and humidity levels. We recommend opening windows to speed up the process.
Do I need to vacuum before you arrive?
Yes, we kindly ask that you give the carpets a light standard vacuum before we arrive to remove surface debris, small toys, and loose change. We will then perform a heavy-duty pre-vacuum or directly apply our pre-conditioners depending on the service level chosen.

Can you guarantee the removal of all stains?
While we have a 95% success rate in removing stains, some substances—like bleach, severe artificial dyes, acne medication, or extremely old set-in stains—may have permanently altered the carpet fibre or stripped the dye. We will always assess the stain honestly and give you a realistic expectation before we begin work.
How do you treat pet urine smells in carpets?
Standard cleaning does not remove pet odour because it does not destroy uric acid crystals. We use specialized, eco-friendly enzyme-based treatments that physically consume and break down the urine crystals at the source, effectively neutralizing the odour permanently rather than just masking it.
What should I do immediately after a spill?
Grab a clean, white, dry towel and press it firmly into the spill to absorb as much liquid as possible. Do not rub or scrub the area, as this will untwist the carpet fibres and permanently damage the texture. Do not apply supermarket cleaning chemicals, as they can "set" the stain. Call us as soon as possible.
