The Problem
A boutique hotel in the Auckland CBD was struggling with their lobby carpets. Thousands of guests tracking in street grease, combined with heavy luggage carts, had crushed the pile and left a massive dark walkway right up to the reception desk.
Our Process
Standard cleaning wasn't cutting it. We employed a restorative hot-water extraction. We pre-sprayed with a heavy-duty enzymatic degreaser. We then used a Counter-Rotating Brush (CRB) machine to physically lift the crushed pile and aggressively scrub the grease out of the fibres before extracting it with 100°C steam.
The Result
The pile was resurrected. The dark pathway disappeared entirely, instantly brightening the entire lobby and restoring the premium feel the hotel required for its guests.
